What is it about being put in charge of a family reunion, that makes one worry about where to have it? And when to have it....Maybe it is that us Sibs are scattered in several states. Maybe it is that I want it to be 'fair' and everyone coming drives the exact same number of miles. Maybe it's because my local kids are hoping it will be held in our home state so they can come help. Maybe it is because I want it to be a fun place for Little People, Teenagers, and us Old Guys, all at the same time. Maybe I want it to be perfect.....a long-time flaw of mine.
Last night we went south to look at a camping spot with Sis and her Hubby. We have 2 more to check out that are north, and 2 others that are north and east. Hopefully by August, we can make a decision, pick a date, make the reservation and stop worrying about it for awhile. It isn't even until next summer!

Well, since we're all planning on there being lots and lots and lots more of these, it's ok to be different some years and the same some years. It's all about getting together and having fun. It's ALL good! :D
