Mercy!

Today I was working away with a small group of children on their reading. I didn't notice that one of the boys was wiping his shirt with a paper towel, and it looked wet and shiny. I asked him what he was doing, and he said, "I sneezed." My mind quickly brought up a memory of another boy in another school during another year. He proudly held his shirt out to show me all the pretty colors splashed on his shirt. He said they were his "bless you's!" Oh, boy! Teaching is so much more than what it is cracked up to be! :)
