bug jar

Today for show and tell, a girl brought a famous Kerr canning bottle containing leaves, grass and twigs. When she said her worm turned into a beetle, I had to turn my back so she wouldn't see me smirking. Hopefully someone will set her straight one day....without smashing her self-esteem in the process. Imagine......a worm that can sprout legs, a head, a crusty shell body, AND wings! Now, THAT would be a valuable worm, I'd have to say!
