pulling weeds

Pulling weeds in the nice warm sun. Nice. Pulling weeds and discovering pretty flowers blooming. Sweet. Trimming climbing roses and making them look cared-for. Fulfilling. Trimming grass in small places where the lawnmower can't reach. Refreshing. Climbing the ladder with electric hedge trimmers in hand and watching the long arms of the trumpet vine get shortened to more manageable lengths. Bye bye hornets. Sneak pulling a few of the neighbors' weeds while they are out of town. Fun! Planning my next digging project.... I sure love to work outside. I love the sun, the breezes, the warmth, the smell of the plants and dirt, the sounds, the feel of the roots of weeds giving way and coming up, the taste of cold water.... I love it all!
