As a teenage girl, I looked so forward to being married, as if it would be the last important thing I ever did. But then the kids came along, and raising/loving them was the most important thing I did right then. Now they are all married and raising their own families, and they are in the middle of their most important teaching and loving years. In about 15 more years, the Grandkids will be marrying and raising their own broods of 'chicks', and it will still be important for me to hug and love and smile and encourage them along. I'm thankful that my getting-older-body still works quite well, and lets me run to try and keep up with my Loved Ones. Being on earth is important. :)

In our YW lesson today at Church, she was comparing our time away from Heaven. She had it figured out based on our time being 1000 years to Heavenly Father's one day. All in all, she figures we're away from Heaven for about 2 hours. She also compared how well she knows her daughter in her 18 years on Earth with her so far to how well Heavenly Father knows us which has been Eons. He knows what we need and how we need to hear it and blesses us so individually that we know how much He loves us. It was neat to think about how Earth life gives us so many opportunities in a relatively short Heavenly amount of time. :) Earth life IS important! ;)
