Soldiers

This morning we attended the retirement ceremony for one of Duane's friends from the Air National Guard. It was a glimpse into his experiences and his service for our Country. We got to participate in the Pledge of Allegiance. We listened to men in uniform speak about Ron's role in his troop. We watched with reverence his wife and two daughters who spent many nights without their Man at home. We looked at photo books of the countries he served in during the wars. One picture was of a row of tents, covered with snow, where our soldiers were living. I came home with a heart full of thankfulness and respect for our hard-working men and women in the armed forces. Every branch. I hope we all hang onto our Patriotism and take care of America.
