Good-bye

Today I bid farewell to the chunky stuff on the ceiling. Some people call it popcorn or cottage cheese ceiling. Duane taught me how to use his gallon sprayer so I could spray the ceiling a piece at a time. Then I scraped for 6+ hours and it all came off! Just now I finished rolling up all the tarps, being careful to keep the stuff inside. I almost have the living room vacuumed with the wet/dry vac and tomorrow it will get finished. Then it needs to dry for at least 24 hours, so tomorrow I can get the house cleaned all the way up. Then I will figure out how to do texturing, and I'll get it looking pretty. Yay! Next comes new curtains. Baby steps.
