Peachuz

A few years ago we ate the yummiest, juiciest peach ever! We planted the pit in hopes of having a tree that would grow a bunch of yummy juicy peaches. Well, (feel free to applaud at any time) for the first time ever, we have about a dozen peaches on our little baby tree! They are a beautiful maroon color and they are getting bigger and bigger and bigger. The birds (or the yellow jackets?) chewed a hole in one peach about the size of a silver dollar, so tonight I re-did the netting we have on the tree. Those peaches are for people, not animals! I can hardly wait to cut one in half, peel the skin off in one piece, and let the juice dribble down my chin while I take a yummy, juicy bite......
