Boom Dee Odda

Yesterday we took a drive up the canyon. The leaves are just starting to turn pretty colors. There were lots of greens, yellows, and beginnings of salmon and red. We walked on a boardwalk around a lake where we saw ducks, fish, dragonflies, a bluebird, a waterfall and families with cute kids. I couldn't take in the blue sky, the trees and plants, and all the beauties around me fast enough. It makes me think of a song we used to sing as young girls on the bus ride to Girls' Camp: I love the mountains. I love the rolling hills. I love the fountains. I love the daffodils.
