You are Portinant, too

Today I started working with 2 new classrooms of children. If today is any indication of the days, weeks, and months ahead, then I'm pretty sure the Kindergarten class is going to be my favorite. :) Today a little boy was drawing a picture of his family, and thinking about his poster on the wall of his classroom, when he said, "I am a portinant person." I think he meant 'important.' :) The other thing that made me grin was when another boy asked with such a sincere face, "Do bees get honey from the store?" What if every day is as fun as today was! :)
