Broom and Dustpan

45 years ago, there were 2 teachers in my elementary school whose names were Mrs. Dustin and Mrs. Groom. Being kids as we were, we secretly called them Mrs. Broom and Mrs. Dustpan. I got a taste of my own medicine the other day, when a kindergarten boy couldn't remember my name. He said, "Mrs. Flower. I mean, Mrs. Leaf?" And I smiled and said, "Mrs. Lee" and we both grinned...but for different reasons. We really do have a teacher at school named Mrs. Flower, but she is young and pretty. Kids have so very many things to learn.
