bye bye Spring

Spring lasted especially long this year. We had lots and lots and lots of cooler, rainy days. I tried to enjoy each one. But now we are un-sogging and enjoying the warmth of the sunny summer days, and those are nice, too. The flowers are blooming away, the grass grows and it's fun to mow it, the baby birds are learning to catch their own worms and flap their own wings, and we are starting to eat the fresh produce that has been growing. We had some corn on the cob for Father's Day that was delicious. Hello, Summer. Glad to see ya.
