Power Company

Today the Power Co. came back for the third time and this time they were able to get the problem fixed. Hooray! There was a bad wire down under the driveway near the main line into the house. They put a temporary wire on it a week or so ago, and that wire was just sitting along the driveway. They couldn't get the new cement cut, but today they made it work. Now everything's underground again, and I can stop worrying that the neighbor kids are going to get electrocuted as they ride their skateboards over the coils of black wire poking up. One less worry...I'm all over that!

Day after tomorrow: real food! In the fridge, there's cookie dough, yogurt, milk, and several kinds of cheese. In the storage room in my 'stash', there are M & M's, licorice, candy corn, microwave popcorn WITH SALT AND BUTTER, Stephen's hot chocolate, and cans of peaches and pears. In my other stash, under my bed, there are still some Andes thin mints from Christmas last year, 2 cans of really salty and yummy almonds, a couple candy bars, and some Nibs. I'm so ready for Thursday! :)
