Thanks, Jenny's Hennie

At work, I sit next to Jenny. Today she brought one of her family's chickens to school to share with her students. They've been studying eggs, hatching, chicks, etc. Having grown up on a farm, but not being a part of actual Farm Life for many, many years, I didn't plan on having so many memories brought to the surface today. Jenny let me hold her hen, and the feel of her feet, her feathers, her tail..... the look of her comb, her blinking eyes, her milk chocolate color.... wow, she sure brought back lots of memories to this old Farm Girl. I especially enjoyed the quiet little noises she made. Thanks, Jenny's Hennie! You totally MADE my day. :)
