Fox Gloves

Today I am happy because I love my perennial plant called the foxglove. It stands so straight and tall and is covered with the most beautiful blooms! It looks like a stalk with tiny scoops growing out of it all the way down. Each little scoop has little spots inside, as if something speckled is trickling out of it and falling to the ground. It looks like it might rain tonight. I hope it does because the plants are needing a drink. I can hear their parched voices calling to me.
