Man, today the wind has blown all day.... just like it always did when we lived in Idaho! I almost forgot what it was like to hear things banging around outside, and to see the trees doing their best dancing. It's been so novel.

On grandpa's farm, I remember the wind blowing through the grain fields. The wheat would dance and bend and make the most wonderful "shoosh" sounds.
While living there (at Ricks) we got so used to the wind, it felt strange and very disconcerting if the wind DIDN'T blow for a day! :D The wind here just seemed to find every piece of dust in the valley and make it airborne! Crazy! :)
